Hi-Fructose Magazine‘s Nastia Voynovskaya wrote up this article on Belgium artist ROA‘s opening last Saturday at 941 Geary. She describes how his show, Dominant Species, “rang with a somber note as references to colonial expansion and the destruction of nature pervaded the exhibit.”

ROA’s classic animal figures were displayed with target signs and laboratory instruments in a macabre presentation investigating man’s impact on the natural world. The show will run through November 3rd, make sure to come visit anytime Tuesday- Saturday 12pm-5pm.
