After his successful opening of “Dominant Species” at 941 Geary, ROA hoped on a flight bound for South Africa to participate in ‘I Art Joburg,’ a month long project made possible by adidas Originals, introducing five world renowned street and fine artists to the heart of the Maboneng Precinct in Johannesburg’s central arts district. Alongside ROA (Belgium) are REMED (Madrid), Steve ‘ESPO‘ Powers (New York), Falko (Cape Town), and Cameron Platter (Durban). Guided walks of the urban exhibition will take place every Saturday during the month of October starting at the new adidas Originals multi-purpose project space: AREA3.
